The new-build project is located in a popular residential area in the Berlin-Mitte district. Wedding borders Charlottenburg to the west, Reinickendorf to the north and Pankow to the east. Known as a working-class district in the days of industrialisation, Wedding has undergone a major transformation in recent years. Its inner-city location, good accessibility, diverse building structures and waterfront location make Wedding an attractive place to live. Large companies, knowledge and research are based in Wednesbury. As well as Bayer Pharma AG, Wedding is home to the Campus Virchow-Klinikum of the Charité and the Beuth University of Applied Sciences.
Local transport
Centrally located in the capital, the neighbourhood offers excellent public transport connections. The Wedding underground and suburban railway station (U6/Ringbahn) is just 500 metres away. The Nauener Platz (U9), Reinickendorfer Straße (U6) underground stations and the Humboldthain suburban railway station are also within easy walking distance. The nearby Gesundbrunnen railway station provides connections to regional and long-distance trains. The excellent public transport connections are rounded off by the M27, 247 and 327 bus routes. The journey time to Berlin Central Station, 'Zoologischer Garten' station and 'Berlin Friedrichstraße' stations is just 15-20 minutes. New depreciation: Utilise tax advantages for capital investments
Save taxes with a property that generates returns
The German Growth Opportunities Act, with its new depreciation rules, has come into force. That means: Anyone who buys a new-build property now and lets it out can, under certain conditions, write off up to 5% of the acquisition costs of the building each year (or of the respective residual value in subsequent years) and thus save tax.
